Homemade Pizza

Pizza Dough Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour

(gluten free alternative 11/2 cups chickpea & 1 1/2 tapioca flour)

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp dried basil

1/2 tbsp dried oregano

1 cup water

2 tbsp cooking oil

Favorite toppings:

soy burger patties crumbled, cooked in olive oil with Italian spices and garlic salt, pizza sauce, Daiya or other vegan mozzarella cheese shreds, sun dried tomatoes soaked in hot water, then chopped. Italian seasoning and garlic salt.


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Use a non-stick pizza pan or spray or rub pizza pan with a little bit of olive oil. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add liquids and stir to incorporate dry ingredients. Knead dough by hand 6-8 times in the bowl. Press dough onto the prepared pizza pan, add your favorite sauce and toppings. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes, depending on crust thickness.

Good to Know:

You can still eat pizza!!
