Orange


Directions:

You can slice them with the peel on and then just pull the pulpy segments as you enjoy your snack or you can peel the orange first, then take the segments apart and enjoy that way. If you pack a peeled orange for lunch you might want to wrap in a damp paper towel so they don’t dry out.











Good to Know:

Oranges are so good and are readily available year round. They are so easy to get that I think we take them for granted. They have amazing benefits! Among other things, they protect your cells from damage, they help your body make collagen, a protein that heals wounds and gives you smoother skin. Oranges make it easier to absorb iron to fight anemia and they boost your immune system, which is your body's defense against germs.
